About the Virtual Yale Station (VYS) e-mail forwarding service:

While not a full e-mail account, VYS can provide you with a permanent e-mail forwarding address. Once you set it up, any mail sent to you at your username@aya.yale.edu address will automatically be forwarded to any e-mail address you specify (a work, school, or personal e-mail account). The advantage of a permanent forwarding address is that it does not change whenever you change jobs or otherwise change e-mail service providers.

Important Notice to all 2009 Graduates

The Virtual Yale Station e-mail forwarding service will be available to 2009 graduates in April 2009.

Once your accounts are ready, you will receive an e-mail from the AYA with information on how to register. At that time, you will be able to register for and access all of the AYA's online services for alumni. These services include permanent e-mail forwarding, the Yale University Online Alumni Directory (which includes information on all alumni), the Yale Career Network and the e-mail mailing lists. You will receive an e-mail from aya@yale.edu to your @yale.edu address as soon as these services become available.
