AYA Assembly "The Yale PhD: 150 Years of Leadership for Yale and the World"

AYA Assembly LXXI, The Yale PhD: 150 Years of Leadership for Yale and the World, will take place on campus November 17-19, 2011. This year we will honor the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as it celebrates the 150th anniversary of its first PhD — the first ever awarded in North America. Hotels for Assembly LXXVI Delegates and Guests

The AYA will provide shuttle transportation to and from the four hotels listed below on a limited schedule on Thursday and Friday of Assembly.

 

Make your reservation directly with the hotel. To get the special AYA discounted rate, you must make your reservation using the links below. You should reserve as soon as possible, as most downtown hotels sell out quickly on the weekend of the Yale-Princeton football game.

Assembly LXXI, held November 17–18, 2011, honored the 150th anniversary of the first Ph.D. degrees granted by Yale, which were the first granted by any university in North America.

There is no charge for your attendance at any of the events listed on this website: program sessions, meals including the Yale Medal dinner, and the Yale-Princeton game. You are also welcome to bring one guest to all events. Please indicate which events that you and/or your guest plan to attend so we can reserve space in the sessions and at meals.

Hotel Information

The AYA has arranged for blocks of rooms at local hotels and Assembly attendees can take advantage of the special AYA rate. The AYA will also provide shuttle transportation to and from these hotels on a limited schedule on Thursday and Friday.
