Yale Professional Schools
Each of Yale’s professional schools has an alumni relations office which arranges alumni functions in New Haven and around the country for their school. An AYA liaison with these offices has helped to build a cooperative relationship that has strengthened and enhanced the entire alumni program of the University.
The AYA seeks in many ways to engage graduate and professional alumni in a full range of activities. Graduate and professional school alumni join Yale clubs in increasing numbers and are becoming active delegates from these clubs to the Assembly, thus bringing to the latter a dual perspective of club and association interests. Graduate and professional associations, active in areas where alumni work, have great impact, helping current Yale students to meet and talk with established professionals in their field, urging qualified candidates to apply to Yale, and raising scholarship funds.
