AYA Home --> Leadership Directory-> Delegates Leadership DirectoryThe Delegate’s RoleOver 300 delegates represent Yale clubs, classes, and graduate and professional school associations. Representatives of the present undergraduate and graduate students are also included as well as 33 at-large delegates. Delegates serve a three-year term and may not succeed themselves. The responsibility of each delegate is to provide two-way communication between his or her constituency and the University. Delegates come to each Assembly with questions and issues of concern from their class, club or graduate or professional association and then seek opportunities for discussion with members of the Yale community and with fellow alumni. The delegate's task is completed when they return to their constituency and share the information and experience gained from the Assembly. The AYA welcomes alumni interested in serving as AYA delegates. For further information please contact Carolyn Claflin at (203) 432-1939. A directory of delegates, their constituencies, and the year their terms expire is published below. All delegates can be found in two locations: in the alphabetical listing of all delegates and in the listing of each constituency. |
