Graduate
School Alumni Association (GSAA)
Alumni have the opportunity to serve the Graduate School as members
and officers of the GSAA Executive Committee. They meet twice
a year in New Haven and advise the Dean and AYA alumni relations
staff on how best to engage Graduate School alumni with Yale.
GSAA executive committee members also assist with events held
for Graduate School alumni in their local area. Five GSAA officers
and members serve on the Wilbur
Cross Medal Selection Committee
each year.
GSAA members simultaneously serve as delegates to the AYA Fall
Assembly representing the Graduate School – Click
here to
see the Assembly website.
The GSAA Executive Committee consists of 15 alumni members, 4
officers, 4 ex officio voting members and two non-voting advisory
trustees. Terms for members are 3 years. Five new members are selected
by the GSAA each year at their spring meeting from among a list
of volunteers.
If you would like to submit your name for consideration as an
AYA Assembly delegate representing the Graduate School, please
send an email to Julia Downs, Associate Director for Graduate School
Alumni Relations at the AYA (julia.downs@yale.edu).
Please include a paragraph or two about your current activities
and interests.
