Air Travel
You may want to consider flying to Hartford (Bradley Airport) or Providence
(T. F. Green). U. S. Airways serves Tweed-New Haven airport from Philadelphia,
and Delta Airlines serves Tweed-New Haven via Cincinnati. New York area
options include La Guardia, JFK and Newark airports.
Connecticut Limousine (www.ctlimo.com; 1-800-472-5466) ground transportation
serves Hartford, Newark, La Guardia and JFK airports, but not Providence. Driving
time from Hartford to New Haven is one hour; from Providence to New Haven is
approximately 2 hours; and from Newark to New Haven can be from 2 to 3+ hours,
depending on traffic. There is also an Amtrak train connection between the
Newark Airport and New Haven.
Trains
Amtrak and Metro North both stop at the New Haven train station.
