FAQ: Which Yale Clubs have buildings?
Only the Yale Club of New York City, but that’s a privately owned paid-membership club not under the auspices of Yale or the AYA. The regional alumni associations that the AYA supports — referred to informally as Yale Clubs, whether they have Yale Club in their names or not — are volunteer-led nonprofits. In New York City, for example, the Yale Alumni Association of New York is the “Yale Club” for the 15,000+ Yale alumni in the metropolitan area.

Please join us for our spring reception featuring John Lewis Gaddis, Robert A. Lovett Professor of History, who will speak on his new Pulitzer Prize winning book, “George Kennan: An American Life”. Professor Gaddis, one of Yale’s most popular professors, teaches a wide range of courses, including the history of the Cold War and Grand Strategy. Before Yale, he was a visiting professor at the Naval War College, Oxford University, and the University of Helsinki. He has also served as the president of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
