New York - Food for Thought Panel with Yale Experts & Yale Blue Green
Date:
Thu, 10/10/2013 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Foodtober: Food for Thought: Eating for a Sustainable Planet and Personal Health 10/10

Yale Blue Green and YAANY invite you to join three Yale experts for informal networking and an intimate discussion moderated by Nicole Possin ’94, Creative Director, Environmental Defense Fund

From 6:30-7:15, network with our experts and fellow alumni. Refreshments will be catered by NYC’s own Alison Eighteen, known for their casual and accessible French-influenced American dishes, refined in their simplicity and inspired by local green markets and organic farms.

From 7:15-8:30, we’ll tackle some of the most pressing food-related questions of our time: How will we feed the world — and ourselves — without destroying the planet? How does sustainable food relate to individual health? Our experts will shed light on these topics while explaining how Yale is leading the charge — in the halls of both research and large-scale dining. The discussion will be open to your questions as well.
