Dear Classmate and Friends,
The response to our recent save-the-date mailing for our Boston mini-reunion, September 21-25, 2011 has been very enthusiastic. It looks like we’re going to have a large turnout and a wonderful get together.
Boston has a magnificent collection of history, architecture, art and literature throughout the city. We have been working to bring to life for you as much of it as we can – to cap a lifetime of learning instilled in each of us half a century ago in New Haven. Here is a snapshot of our schedule:

6 pm Welcome reception and orientation at the Copley Marriott.

12:30 pm Lunch immediately following at the uptown Harvard Club.

HOTELS: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Copley Marriott Hotel at Copley Place, 110 Huntington Avenue. To reserve your room, call (617) 236-5800, ask for reservations and tell them that you are part of the "Yale Class of 1955" block. They will give you our special class rate and charge it directly to your personal credit card. If it seems that the block is filling up, we will reserve as many additional rooms at the Marriott as are available. If you encounter any difficulty in making your reservation, please contact our event planner, Jennifer Craig, at 617-959-1427 and she will assist you. Should more classmates attend than the Marriott can accommodate, there are three other hotels nearby:
The Westin Copley Place, 10 Huntington Avenue, (617) 262-9600
The Colonnade Hotel, 120 Huntington Avenue, (617) 424-7000
The Lenox Hotel, 61 Exeter Street, (617) 536-5300
Since all activities will leave from the Marriott, your room reservations there will assure the most convenience for you. Your hotel reservation at the Copley Marriott or another hotel of your choice should be made promptly, since space will be limited.
Please return the registration form with your check or credit card information in the enclosed envelope. On the form you will also need to indicate your top two (2) choices for the Saturday morning program from the options described.
We look forward to seeing you in Boston! And please be prepared to be flexible with any schedule changes as our numbers may dictate.
