2012 Alumni Fellow Election

The ballots for this year’s Alumni Fellow Election, to vote an Alumni Fellow to the Yale Corporation, have been emailed and mailed to all eligible voters: all graduates of the first degree of five or more years’ standing and all persons who have been admitted to any degree higher than the first in the University, whether honorary or in course. Eligible voters who did not receive an official ballot may request a replacement via email by contacting to the Yale 2012 Alumni Fellow Election at yalehelp@electionservicescorp.com or by a written request to the Secretary of the University. Information regarding the election procedure is available on the Secretary’s website http://www.yale.edu/secretary/election.

Alumni association concert raises hope with songs from Whiffenpoofs and special guest from “Glee”
 

“The act of community building,” says “Glee” star Darren Criss, is what he likes best about live musical performance, as it can bring strangers together in a shared experience.

Criss, who portrays high school singer Blaine Anderson on the FOX television show, made the comment at his Lincoln Center debut on Saturday, Dec. 17, in a concert that also featured the Yale Whiffenpoofs, Allison Williams ’10, the Harvard Krokodiloes, and the Princeton Nassoons. Yale plus ONE: Alumni join forces to promote global service and advocacy
 

The Association of Yale Alumni (AYA) and ONE, a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease particularly in Africa, are launching a strategic partnership to promote global service and advocacy by linking the Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) with ONE’s education and advocacy programs. The Yale-ONE partnership will begin in 2012, with the YASC Africa Project in Cape Coast and Yamoransa, Ghana, July 27–Aug. 7, 2012.  For more information, please click here.
