General Information

Weekend Overview and Guest Policy
There is no charge for your attendance at any of the events listed on this website: program sessions, meals including the Yale Medal dinner, and the Yale-Princeton game. You are also welcome to bring one guest to all events. Please indicate which events that you and/or your guest plan to attend so we can reserve space in the sessions and at meals.

Registration Instructions and Deadline: November 3, 2010
To prepare properly for the weekend, please use our easy on-line registration at https://alumnievents.yale.edu/assemblyreg/address.asp?AssemblyID=24

We have also reserved a limited number of rooms at local hotels. Assembly participants should contact the hotels directly to reserve a room and to take advantage of the special AYA rate. Special room blocks will be held ONLY until October 11. However, a number of hotels are already full for the weekend, so if you have not already done so, please make your reservations today.

Click here for important hotel information. For registration questions and additional information, contact Alisa Masterson at 203-432-1947 or via e-mail at alisa.masterson@yale.edu.

Voluntary Contributions and Tax Deductibility
Though all events are free of charge for each invited participant and guest, the cost of hosting this Assembly program is significant. The AYA welcomes voluntary contributions at any level, and all such gifts will help us defray the cost of the weekend. You may be able to treat voluntary contributions to the AYA and any travel expenses you incur in conjunction with your volunteer position as tax-deductible charitable gifts. Contact your tax advisor for further information.

Board of Governors Interest Session
The AYA will host a special session on Friday morning for those interested in learning more about service on the Board of Governors. Service on the Board offers a wonderful opportunity to continue a delegate's volunteer engagement. Because the AYA Board of Governors Nominating Committee gives particular consideration to delegates with some experience, the session will be especially helpful to delegates in the second or third year of their delegate term. More information on the session will be included in the final program you receive when you register on campus in November.
