Alumni (AYA) and the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) are pleased
to announce that the 2007 Yale-Harvard Game will be broadcast live
on HDNet nationwide (available on DirecTV 79, Dish Network 9422
and various cable providers). Any of these options should be available
at many sports bars and venues.
The Game will be hosted by Yale, in New Haven,
CT, on Saturday, November 17, 2007. Kick-off time is scheduled
for 12:00 p.m. (Eastern). Jack Ford ‘72 will provide color
commentary on the broadcast.
Making Sure That Your Commercial Establishment Can Receive The
Game
I mportant - Please note: If you
are holding a Game event in a commercial establishment, you need
to check with the site management as soon as possible to get a
definitive confirmation that the establishment can receive HDNet
or one of the other options listed below:
Here are the different ways that commercial sites can receive The
Game:
1. The establishment receives HDNet, the high-definition television
network (available on DirecTV 79, Dish Network 9422 and various
cable providers). Please refer to the HDNet website at www.hd.net
for further information about receiving their broadcast. Look for
the section “Where to Watch” in the header toolbar.
2. The Game will also be shown on SportsNet NY in New York City,
WTXX in Hartford, WPHL in Philadelphia, and WLVI in Boston.
There is no cost to Clubs for the telecast. Your only costs will
be those incurred at your event site on the day of The Game.
If you are not the primary contact for your Yale-Harvard Game
