Class Projects and Scholarships

More than 25 Yale College Classes currently use treasury funds and/or classmate volunteers to support special projects and scholarships. These include classes that provide funds for financial aid, for AYA Community Service Summer Fellowships, for Dwight Hall Fellowships, for a community service prize, for community-based programs in education or music, and for summer travel. Some classes are affiliated with residential colleges and work with Masters and Deans to support students in their various activities.

These relationships -- as well as the contact between class members and fellowship recipients -- strengthen bonds between alumni and current students in a way that can be very rewarding to classes that choose to invest treasury funds in this way.
