Suggestions for additional information to add to sample letters:

  • News from New Haven and Rose Alumni House. The AYA website (www.aya.yale.edu) is a good place to look for ideas. For instance:
    • Reminder to keep contact information up-to-date using the Online Directory
    • residential college renovations
    • redevelopment in New Haven.
  • New officers can add an introduction of themselves (including new secretary) and goals for the next years.
  • For those class who have just celebrated a reunion – thank yous to the reunion chairs and committee members
  • Call for volunteers for class council/class event volunteers. Thank yous to past event organizers (mini reunions and reunions) can also be extended.
  • Update on your class website, or a call for content to be added to the website.
  • Highlights of recent class events, including class listserv discussions.
