Class Programs

Getting Involved

The AYA offers alumni many opportunities to get involved with the University and fellow alumni. Yale College Class alumni participate in all manner of class activities, programs and events, including five-year reunions in New Haven, as well as Yale fundraising efforts. If you want to get involved with your class, contact your class officers.

Class Events

In addition to five-year reunions, Yale College Classes with the assistance of the AYA, organize many programs and events throughout the year. These gatherings take place on campus and around the country and vary in form from dinners, educational, athletic and cultural events and mini-reunions.

Volunteer

Many alumni serve in volunteer positions to maintain and expand their classmates' connections to Yale through class activities. To recognize the commitment of time and energy of these volunteers on behalf of their classes, the AYA offers classes the opportunity to present up to five Class Awards for "distinguished service to the class" at their reunion.

Service

Classes also focus their attention on service to Yale. Several have endowed all or part of an AYA Community Service Summer Fellowship. Some classes have established special relations with specific residential colleges and work regularly with students in various mentoring capacities.
