Assembly LX: Free Speech, Free Expression and Free Inquiry at Yale
Friday, April 26 through Saturday, April 27, 2002

Free Speech in Action: A Student-Alumni Forum

The Lee Amphitheater Concourse was the site of "Hyde Park at Yale" where all student groups who wished to do so were able to staff booths and inform the alumni delegates of their positions and activities. Alumni saw for themselves the range and depth of student convictions. Student groups present ranged from the Black Student Alliance/Black Pride Union to the Coalition for Faculty Diversity, GESO, the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project, the Yale Journal of Human Rights, and the Yale Women's Center.
